DM Anantnag orders action against illegal parking

          ANANTNAG, JULY 3: The District Magistrate Anantnag has issued orders directing the owners of private garages and schools not to park vehicles on the roadside outside their workshops and educational institutions.

These directions were issued in light of the frequent traffic jamming along the KP Road thereby not only impeding the traffic movement but also causing great inconvenience to pedestrian movement.

Accordingly, all the private garage owners and school authorities have been directed to desist from parking their vehicles all along the Khanabal-Pahalgam Road especially from 7:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M.

Meanwhile, SSP Anantnag, Dy SP Traffic Anantnag, ARTO and SHOs of Anantnag and Mattan have been directed to seize all such vehicles found parked outside private garages and schools on roadside during the specified timing.
