KUPWAR, JULY 04: District Election Officer Kupwara today
convened a meeting to review the preparations for Systematic Voters' Education
and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programmes under special drive to enroll
left out voters, who attained the age of 18 years as on January 1, 2017.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy
Commissioner Kupwara, ADC Handwara, REOs, AREOs and concerned officers of
Revenue Department.
The DEO
impressed upon the concerned officers to work with added zeal and zest so that no
voter is left out of the drive. He appealed the people in general and youth in
particular to enroll themselves so that they can exercise their franchise. He
asked the concerned EROs, AEROs and field functionaries to aware the general
public about the special drive to be conducted by election authorities at
various levels.
