DIET Pulwama reviews functioning of SBM

PULWAMA, JULY 05: A meeting was held at District Institute of Education and Trainings Pulwama to review functioning & performance of different functionaries of Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM).

The meeting also took stock of the Preparedness for Learners Assessment test scheduled to be held in the month of August 2017.

The meeting was presided over by The Principal DIET Pulwama (Member Secretary SBM ZLSS Pulwama), Nodal Officer SBM Pulwama, Zonal Education Officers from Tahab, Kakapora, Pampore, Shadimarg and Tral zones, all SBM In-charges at BLSS level, all DLCs & BLCs attended the meeting. Nodal Officer SBM Pulwama gave a presentation on the achievements made during past one year.  

Principal DIET Pulwama appreciated the efforts of all functionaries towards bringing a great transformation in the functioning of the Program since last one year.

The meeting was told that over 7000 learners have been enrolled for the Test scheduled in August 2017.

Member Secretary SBM Pulwama stressed on the need for smooth communication of information and activities performed by different functionaries in the district. She laid emphasis on the conduct of monitoring of various SBM functions at Panchayat level and reporting of the same to ZLSS on the timely basis.
