ANANTNAG, JULY 17: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Anantnag under the chairmanship of Principal, District & Sessions Judge, Anantnag, Mohammad Ashraf Malik, today inaugurated 2-day training programme for Retainer Lawyers of Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian districts.
During the training session, the chairman DLSA emphasized upon the retainer lawyers to bring free legal services at the doorsteps of needy, especially to downtrodden communities, orphans, destitutes and differently-abled persons.
The Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Authority Anantnag, (TLSA), Chief Judicial Magistrate Anantnag, during the training session, directed the lawyers to give special focus on public issues. The Retainer Lawyers raised the demands for conducting of more awareness programmes by District and Tehsil, Legal Services Authorities especially in educational institutions and Social Welfare Centers.

The training programme was attended by retainer lawyers of District Legal Service Authorities of Kulgam, Shopian and Tehsil Legal Service Committees of Dooru, Shangas, Vailoo, Aishmuqam, Bijbehara and Pahalgam.
