ECI organizes training programme for JK’s election officials

SRINAGAR, JULY 5: The Election Commission of India (ECI) in collaboration with State Election Department organized training programme of capacity building for officers and officials of J&K Election Department.

Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Krishan Lal inaugurated the 3-day training programme on the theme “Leadership & Motivation” here today.  

Deputy Chief Electoral Officer said that the aim of the programme was to enhance the leadership and motivational capability of the officers and officials of election department towards electoral process. They need to have leadership and motivational capacity to motivate the people to register themselves as electors and by using their right to franchise contribute in the development of the country.

During the 3-day training programme, more than 50 officers and officials of State Election Department including Deputy District Election officers and Election Naib-Tehsildars across the State are participating.

 The 3-day programme has been divided into sessions during which resource persons  Dr Tosendra Dwivedi and Mr. Ashwani Mohan would delivered lectures on topics including effective communication skill, emotional communication, emotional intelligence, self motivation, motivatinf others and team building through power point presentation.
