JAMMU, JULY 24- Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat
today said that the government is making concerted efforts to develop infrastructure in all
vital sectors and the people have acknowledged the improvement on ground.
The Minister said this while addressing public meetings at village
Dundpur and Mukhra in Raipur Domana Constituency.
Bali Bhagat said the Government has made its sincere efforts to upgrade
the facilities of drinking water, road connectivity, health, education,
irrigation and other vital sectors to ensure equitable development of all the
regions.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi took keen interest in the affairs
of Jammu and Kashmir and ensured adequate funds for the up-gradation of
essential services and launching several welfare schemes for the upliftment of
people.
Regarding upgradation of power supply in Dundpur village, the Minister
directed the engineers to repair old electric wires and upgrade the existing
transformers. He further directed to install new transformer in the area to
augment power supply.
While inspecting the facilities at Sub Centre Mukhra, the Minister
reviewed the stock position of medicines and staff strength. He assured the
locals for providing sufficient staff in the Sub Centre. Responding to the
demands of the locals, the Minister also announced Rs. 2 lakh for construction
of bathing ghat in Dundpur area under Constituency Development Fund.
Later, Minister visited Government Middle School Dund Pur Mukhra and
interacted with students and teaching staff. While listening demands of the
teaching staff, he assured for timely resolution of their genuine demands.
Bali Bhagat also visited Suryachak, Khandwal and Lalyal and listened to
the demands of the people of these areas. At Suryachak, the Minister took stock
of medicare facilities and staff strength.
At Khandwal, the Minister met people and listen their grievances
regarding upgradation of power infra and installation of new poles. The people
of Lalyal village demanded construction of protection wall in the area.
