Jammu, Jul 24 : Amid rain, a fresh batch of 673 Amarnath pilgrims today left from Yatri Niwas base camp here for the holy cave shrine in South Kashmir. Chanting 'bam bam bholay', the pilgrims, comprising 467 male, 146 females and 50 sadhus, left in a cavalcade of 24 vehicles early this morning. Pilgrims left for Pahalgam and Baltal to perform the pilgrimage in 34 vehicles including 11 Light Motor Vehicles and 13 buses. ‘’The Yatra is smoothly heading on the highway," a police official here said.
