SRINAGAR, JULY 07: Project Director Jammu and Kashmir State AIDs Control Society (JKSACS), Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, today convened a meeting to review measures and facilities being provided by the Society for treatment and prevention of deadly HIV and AIDS.
The meeting held detailed discussions to streamline the facilities under
Basic Services Division, Care, Support & Treatment and Blood Safety
Division of JKSACS.
Important decisions for the effective and smooth functioning of NACO
supported Blood Banks, Integrated Counseling & Testing Centers and Anti
Retro-Viral Therapy Centres were taken and instructions were given to the staff
to perform their duties more effectively and efficiently so that no affected
person should suffer for want of free services being provided by JKSACS.
Deputy Director, Blood Safety Division, Deputy Director (finance), Assistant
Director (BDS), staff members of JKSACS and other concerned were present in the
meeting.
