JKLADCSA protest against pay disparity in Srinagar, several held

Srinagar, Jul 31 :  Several government employees were taken into preventive custody today by police after they staged a protest in this summer capital, demanding removal of pay disparity and anomaly. Raising slogans in favour of their demands, scores of the members of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association hit the street at Press Enclave here today. However, when they tried to take out a protest march to Lal Chowk, security forces deployed in the area stopped them from moving ahead. As the protestors did not back down, security forces took several JKLADCSA members into preventive custody. UNI
