New Delhi, Jul 18 : NDA candidate M Venkaiah Naidu today filed his nominations for the Vice-Presidential election which will be held on August 5. Mr Naidu was accompanied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior BJP leaders and members of the Modi Cabinet when he came to the office of the Rajya Sabha Secretary General to file his papers. Among those who came along with Mr Naidu besides the Prime Minister, included BJP chief Amit Shah, BJP patriarch L K Advani, Defence and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and several leaders of NDA allies.
