Jammu, Jul 14 : At least six persons got injured in a clash that broke out here this evening over an issue, police said.

Police said that two groups attacked each other with sharp edged weapons while one of them also opened fire resulting in injuries.

"The clash broke out between two groups over car repairing following the bill issued by the spare part owners in Narwal area here this evening,’’ police aid.

They said that the party, who had been served bill by the spare part owners, objected to bill, which led to scuffle and later they clashed and attacked each other.

Both the parties attacked each other with sharp edged weapons and a gun-shot was also fired leaving six persons injured.

"We have rushed the injured to the hospital,’’ police said adding that a case under section 307 of RPC has been registered.

The injured were identified as Harpreet Singh son of Harbans Singh, Amarpreet Singh son of Devinder Singh, Harbeet Singh son of Devinder Singh, all residents of Digiana and Ravi Kumar son of Ramesh Lal RS Pura, Pritam Singh son of Babu Singh and Aman Singh son of Pritam Singh, both residents of Marh.

"Aman Singh has suffered a bullet injury,’’ police said and added that he is out of danger.
