Jammu, July 15 - World Youth Skills Day was
celebrated at ITI Jammu with enthusiastic participation of large number of
students.
The event was inaugurated by Rajindra
Gupta, Deputy Director Technical Education, Jammu.
Among others, Deputy Director
Employment and Counseling, and Representatives from JKEDI & MSMEDI were
present on the occasion.
Deputy Director Technical Education
highlighted the importance of skill development among youth and requested the
trainees to acquire various skills in their life.
Deputy Director Employment and
counseling, Jammu, JKEDI and MSMEDI also highlighted various state and central
schemes run by their departments for the welfare of unemployed youth.
Ex-trainees of ITI, Jammu were also present on the occasion and shared their
success stories among trainees
