Lucknow, Jul 29 : Uttar Pradesh Congress general secretary and MLC Deepak Singh has alleged that as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his ministers would not be able to get elected from Assembly seats, they were 'forcing' the opposition members in the Legislative Council to resign from their seats. "The act of the BJP Government in UP is like criminals who are threatening and conspiring against the opposition legislators," he said in a press statement here today. Mr Singh said that the BJP Governments at the Centre as well as in UP, were indulging in all type of illegal ways to frame the opposition by misusing ED, CBI and other agencies. The statement of Mr Singh comes in the wake of the resignation of three MLCs, two of the SP and one of BSP today. The members who resigned are Bhukkal Nawab and Yashwant Singh of the SP and Thakur Jaiveer Singh of the BSP. UNI
