Mumbai, Aug 31: At least ten people were killed and 35 others rescued from the debris after a five-storied building collapsed this morning in the financial capital's Bhendi Bazaar area of south Mumbai. As many as 15 people, including three firemen, sustained injuries. Several others are feared trapped under the debris of the building. According to reports, the residential building on Pakmodia Street in Bhendi Bazaar area was undergoing some redevelopment work when it came down crashing. Fire brigade and rescue teams have arrived at the spot. An NDRF team is also assisting in the rescue work. "Thirty five people have been rescued from debris. We are looking for other survivors. Number of trapped people not confirmed," DCP Zone-1 Dr Manoj Sharma said. UNI
