111 police personnel promoted to next grade in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 3 :  As many as 111 personnel of the state police were today promoted to the next grade, a police spokesperson said here this afternoon. He said the departmental promotion committee under the chairmanship of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray cleared in-situ promotion in respect of 58 constables and 53 followers to the next higher standard pay scale. The timely conduct of promotion has added to the high morale of subordinate officials and their better job performance. This is also a result of regular attention in this area for the welfare of subordinates, he said. Mr Parray, in his message, has congratulated the personnel and their families, besides expressed his hope that they will continue to work with the same zeal and dedication for public peace and welfare.
