Srinagar, Aug 14 : Two Harkat-ul-Mujahideen militants were today arrested by security forces in the frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara. Inspector General of Police of Kashmir range, Muneer Khan told that following specific information about the presence of militants in Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, a joint search operation was launched by police and Army in the area. He said during the search operation, two militants, identified as Yousin Ahmad Mir and Tahir-ul-Islam, were arrested. ''Both the militants belong to Harkat-ul-Mujahideen,” he said, adding they were being questioned. UNI
