ACR Sgr convenes meeting with revenue functionaries

          SRINAGAR, AUGUST 09: Assistant Commissioner Revenue convened an interactive meeting with all Lumberdars/Chowkidars of District Srinagar, here today.

          During the meeting, feedback from Lumberdars/ Chowkidars on various issues like developmental activities, law & order, various welfare schemes, functioning of schools and position of essential commodities, power, water, ration supply and other issues of their respective areas was sought.

          Assistant Commissioner Revenue also directed all Tehsildars to resolve the issues raised by Lumberdars/Chowkidars and to ensure that the instructions are followed in letter and spirit. They were advised to conduct monthly meetings with Lumberdars/Chowkidars and furnish results, action taken report besides remarks and recommendations on regular basis to enable office of ACR to take up the matter with concerned departments for early disposal.
