Srinagar, Aug 8 :  Life returned to normal after remaining crippled for two days in parts of north and south Kashmir against the death of civilians in clashes and militants in encounters with security forces. However, business and other activities remained crippled for the third successive day today at Hajin in Bandipora district against the killing of three local Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants in an encounter with security forces in Amargarh, Sopore, in Baramulla on August 5. On the other hand, shops and business establishments reopened and traffic was plying on all routes normally in this and other south Kashmir towns and tehsil headquarters, including Anantnag and Pulwama. Work in government offices and banks was also normal while class work resumed in all educational institutes. Life was also normal in Sopore and other adjoining areas. UNI
