Jammu, Aug 21 :  Protest triggered in bordering Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir as it was alleged that ambulance service could not be provided timely to shift a student suffered from cardiac arrest. "Tension gripped the Rajouri town this morning when a students of BA First year namely Tanveer of PG College Rajouri died due to cardiac arrest," official sources here said. They said that the protesting students alleged that ambulance could not reach on time on the spot to shift the student. "The students also damaged hospital property," they added and said that the matter was settled by the administrative officials. "The students were reportedly instigated later by some of the local leaders following which protest was intensified," said an eyewitness. They said that situation turned violent, while police resorted to mild lathi-charge and tear gas shells to disperse the protestors. UNI
