KISHTWAR, AUGUST 29: To provide platform to students to
express their views, District Information Centre Kishtwar organized a debate
competition on the topic “Women Empowerment” here today at Government High School Poochal, Kishtwar.
In all ten boys and girls students drawn from primary middle and
secondary classes took part in the competition and expressed their views on the
topic
Sachin Kumar of class 8th , Sured of class 9th and Mutahir Hussain of class 8 were adjudged as IST, 2nd
and 3rd respectively by a panel of three judges.
The Headmaster of the institution Shambu Nath presides over the
programme and threw light on the objective of the topic. He appreciated
information department for organizing such contests to provide students an
opportunity to express their views.
Later the department gave away special prizes to the winners and
consolation prizes to all participants.
