SHOPIAN, AUGUST 28: Deputy
Commissioner Shopian, Mohammad Aijaz, today chaired a District Level Screening
Cum Coordination (DLSCC) committee meeting here during which nine cases were
thoroughly discussed by the Committee.
The Committee unanimously agreed to approve the eligible SRO-43 cases,
wherein ex-gratia relief was sanctioned for nine cases where victims were
either killed or missing for more than ten years.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that time-bound clearance
of the cases would play a pivotal role in reinforcing the faith of affected
families in the Government.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Additional Superintendent of Police,
Commandant CRPF and representatives from Army and Paramilitary Forces
participated in the meeting.
