UDHAMPUR, AUGUST-30:- Assistant Commissioner Revenue,
Subash Chander Dogra today held a meeting with district officers to
finalize the arrangements for forthcoming Eid-Ul-Azha
festival.
During the meeting, the ACR issued necessary directions to the concerned
for ensuring adequate water & uninterrupted power supply, cleanliness in and around the
mosques, besides directing the police department to make proper security arrangements around the Eidgah and
Jamia Masjid during the festival. A committee was also constituted
to keep a check on the rates and quality of various eatables especially
meat and sweets.
Among others, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Executive Engineer PDD,
District Sheep Husbandry Officer, AD FCS&CA, Dy SP(HQ), Tehsildar Udhampur,
Representatives of Municipal Council & PHE department, officers
of different Departments and committee members were present in the meeting.
