Agartala, Aug 17 : The North Tripura police in a midnight search arrested at least five Bangladeshi nationals from the house of Majid Hussein at West Chandrapur locality under Dharmanagar Police station. Based on secrete information police raided the house and detained them. According to police, they are the residents of Gopalganj and Jossore of Bangladesh. They were identified as Majid Sekh, Ujjal Sekh, Babul Haldhar, Mintu Baidyakar and Nazrul Sekh, all age varies between 30 and 35 years. They claimed that they had entered in Tripura via Sonamura of Western border of Tripura three days ago. However, police seized railway ticket of Silchar-to Dharmanagar sector on August 13 last. Four mobile sets, some Bangladeshi currency, screw driver, range of iron were recovered from their possession. Majid Hussein is a driver in profession claimed that he is a close relative of a local CPI(M) leader and he frequently travel the places of Agartala. However, police is yet to ascertain their purpose of visit. UNI
