Merger prospect brightens as TN Govt announces Inquiry Commission to probe Jaya's death, Veda Nilayam to be made memorial

Chennai, Aug 17 :  Brightening the prospects of the much-awaited merger of the two warring factions of the AIADMK, the Tamil Nadu Government today announced that a Commission of Inquiry would be appointed to probe the 'mystery' behind the death of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Addressing a crowded, but a very brief press conference at the State Secretariat, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said the Poes Garden residence of 'Amma' (as Ms Jayalalithaa was affectionately called by the Party cadres) would also be converted into a memorial.
