New Delhi, Aug 14 : Greeting people on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu today called upon people to perform their duties and seek the path of righteousness. 'I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami,' the Vice-President said in his message. In the message, he said the eternal message of performing 'our duties with sincerity without attachment to the results bestowed by Lord Krishna in the 'Bhagwad Gita' has been a source of inspiration for entire humanity'. 'Let us all resolve to perform our duties and seek the path of righteousness. May this Janmashtami bring peace, amity, harmony and prosperity in our country,' he said. UNI
