JAMMU, AUGUST 25: According
to J&K High Court Legal Services Committee, National Lok Adalat is being
organized on September 09, 2017 for various types of cases- pre-litigation or pending before both the
wings of the state High Court.
The cases to be taken up at National Lok Adalat include criminal
compoundable offences, NI Act cases under section 138, bank recovery cases,
MACT cases, matrimonial cases, electricity and water bills excluding theft
cases, revenue cases, other civil cases pertaining to rent, injunction suits,
special performance suits among others.
