Srinagar, Aug 30 :  Reacting to reports that Jammu and Kashmir government will emulate Himachal Pradesh in the implementation of the Mid-Day Meal scheme in government schools, former chief minister Omar Abdullah said that there is no need to reinvent the wheel.
      Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of main opposition National Conference (NC), in an apparent jibe at the centre, which has re-named and re-launched many UPA-II government schemes, said that the Congress government in Himachal has shown the way to the BJP-PDP government in J&K.
      “Congress Govt in Himachal shows the way to the BJP-PDP Govt in J&K. No need to reinvent the wheel, Mr Abdullah wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
      A team of officials from state Education Department will be visiting Himachal Pradesh for an interactive session with their counterparts regarding the implementation of the Mid Day Meal scheme in the second week of September.UNI
