Srinagar, Aug 19: Security forces launched a search operation in south Kashmir district of Shopian against militants early this morning, official sources said. They said on a specific information about the presence of militants troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation at Nowgam Shopian early this morning. All the exit points have been closed and operation was on when the reports last came in, they said.
