New Delhi, Aug 21  : BJP chief Amit Shah has called a meeting of chief ministers of BJP-ruled states this evening to review their work and discuss the strategy of achieving the target of winning more than 350 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The meeting will be held at party headquarters here at around 1800 hrs in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present. Thirteen Chief Ministers and five deputy ministers, including those of Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir will also be present. The ground report on the implementation of Central schemes is expected to figure in the meeting. Apart from this, there will be a discussion on strategy for coming Assembly polls and the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP had last week called senior cabinet ministers and allocated them the party's work in different states for the Mission 360 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. The senior ministers on August 17 had apprised Mr Shah of the ongoing work of their respective ministries at a meeting held at the party headquarters, ahead of the likely Cabinet reshuffle this month. Mr Shah had asked the Ministers to strengthen the party organisation in the areas where it is weak, sources said. The BJP President is currently on visit to different states these days and is meeting party workers and holding discussion on how to strengthen the party at the booth level.
