Thief arrested, stolen items recovered in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 22 :  Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed to have solved a theft case by arresting a person and recovering stolen items in Srinagar. A police spokesperson here this evening said Lalbazar police station received a complaint from one Barkat Ali, a resident of Hakabazar, that some unknown persons barged into his house and took away some mobile phones, cycle and a generator. He said a case was registered and investigation was taken up. During investigation, he said some suspects were rounded up and one person Adil Ahmad Dar confessed to the crime. “Stolen items were recovered on his instance.” UNI
