RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 01: District Administration Rajouri
provided more than 5700 revenue related certificates in 13 camps organized in
various remote areas taking the number of certificates provided by Revenue
Department and Health department to 34,000. Health department provided 5010
certificates at similar camps.
Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary informed that
the mass contact programmes launched on 6th June 2017 has achieved a major
success in outreach of service delivery and a record number of 41,000
certificates have been provided at more than 150 camps organized in last 3
months.
Revenue Department provided 5769 certificates at 13 camps organized
during the month of August which included 312 Caste Certificates, 1662 PRCs,
781 Category Certificates, 419 Caste Certificates, 77 Marriage Certificates,
811 Character Certificates, 89 Mutations, 797 Revenue Extracts, 170 corrections
and 640 other certificates. A total of 10,774 services were provided including
5010 certificates by health department like age certificate, health certificate,
medical fitness, insurance related check-up, disability certificates and other
services.
The camps were organised by Revenue Department at in different remote
areas including Dalhouri, Check-Mathyani, Peeri, Ranthal, Thangar, Ghambir,
Nonial, Chambitrar, Darhal and Teryath among other locations where Deputy
Commissioner, AC Revenue, SDMs, Tehsildars, NT and other officers from line
departments participated. Camps of health department were held at Darhal,
Thanamandi, Sunderbani, Nowshera and other areas. Meanwhile, more than 12,000
people attended the daily public grievances redressal schedule during the month
in the office of Deputy Commissioner.
District Administration has continued the outreach programme for last
more than 3 months providing a record number of certificates and attracting
greater public participation and departments have set a target of universal
achievement of basic certificates' availability in every family of the
district.
Dr. Shahid also informed that during the month of September a number of
camps will be organized by Revenue, Health and FCS&CA Departments involving
other line departments for providing basic services at doorsteps and addressing
public grievances. He added that Services available under Public Service
Guarantee Act and other services will be provided on spot as per schedule
notified by the Deputy Commissioner.
