Srinagar, Sep 7: Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband from them in separate incidents in central Kashmir district of Budgam, a police spokesperson said here this evening.
      He said following specific information about transportation of drugs, a checkpoint was established at Adina in Budgam.
      Police intercepted a person at the checkpoint and during checking recovered 3.2 kg of bhang from him, he said.       
      The drug peddler, identified as Ghulam Mohammad Dar, was immediately taken into custody. 
      He said another drug peddler, Nazir Ahmad Mir, was arrested alongwith 15 kg of poppy straw at a checkpoint at Brail in Budgam.
