2 drug peddlers arrested, contraband recovered in central Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 25: Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband from them in central Kashmir district of Budgam.
         A police spokesperson here this evening said that during routine checking at Beerwa in Budgam, a police party intercepted a motorcycle.
         During checking, police recovered seven kg of poppy straw from the motorcyclist, Gulzar Ahmad Dar.
         Dar alongwith his pillion mate Rayees Ahmad Rather were immediately taken into custody, he added. UNI
