6 gamblers arrested, stake money seized in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 25: Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested six gamblers and recovered stake money from them in south Kashmir district of Kulgam.

      A police spokesperson here this evening said that following specific information about gambling near Eid Gah Kulgam, a police party raided the site.
      During checking, police arrested six gamblers, identified as Javaid Ahmad Wani, Mohammad Ashraf Wani, Sartaj Ahmad Naik, Mohammad Amin Wani, Mohammad Rafeeq Shah and Mohammad Maqbool Ganie, all residents of Kulgam. 
      “Stake money of Rs 18,500 was also seized from the spot,” he added. UNI
