The direction from the Governor came in view of the serious concern raised by various organisations regarding non-implementation of reservation policy for differently-abled persons in Kashmir University (KU) and Jammu University (JU).
He has directed Vice-Chancellors of both the Universities to ensure that the requisite modalities for implementation of Reservation Policy for Persons with Disabilities, both for teaching and non–teaching positions in the Universities, are finalized by October 31, 2017. UNI
