Srinagar, Sep 29: Security forces today burst teargas shells to disperse protestors after Fridayprayers at Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla and in downtown Srinagar, where a youth was critically injured during the clashes.
      Trouble started immediately after prayers were over in historic Jamia masjid, where scores of protestors took to streets against the killings of civilians and militants in the valley.
      Shouting anti-government and ‘pro-freedom’ slogans, the protestors tried to march towards main Nowhatta chowk.
      However, security forces deployed in the area swung into action and stopped the demonstrators from moving ahead. As the protestors didn’t back down, security forces burst teargas shells and fired pellets to disperse the demonstrators, who were regrouping and pelting stones.
      A youth, who was critically injured during the clashes, was rushed to SMHS hospital, Srinagar.
Meanwhile, massive clashes also erupted after 
Friday prayers were over at Jamia Masjid in Sopore.
