Pay attention to education for better future: Mir Fayaz to students

KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 26:  Highlighting the importance of education, Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Mir Mohammad Fayaz today impressed upon students to pay attention to their studies to have a bright future.

Chairing the annual day function organized by CM's Model HSS Kupwara, Mir Fayaz said it is the education that shapes the future of a student. With quality education a students could become great leaders, or a doctor, or an intellectual tomorrow, the MP said.

Later the MP also distributed 11 scooties, and gave away Rs 15 lakh from his MPLADS for purchasing of the school bus. He also gave Rs 2 lakhs for purchasing sports kits for girls and boys of the school and Rs 5 lakhs for construction of rest room, under infrastructural development in the school.

The function was attended by Chief Education Officer Kupwara, DEPO, officers of different departments, civil society members, senior citizens, parents, students, teachers, Principals of HSSs of the district and the students of the school were present on the occasion.
