JAMMU, SEP 06: The State Human Rights
Commission (SHRC) has asked the Power Development Department (PDD) to pay
compensation of Rs 5 lakh to one Muneer Hussain S/O Mohammad Safi R/O Noona
Mandi Poonch working as Daily Wager in the Department.
SHRC Member Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal while hearing the case was informed
that Muneer while repairing the fault has lost his left arm by way of
amputation at GMC Jammu.
SHRC has also asked PDD to regularize the services of the victim.
