Jammu, Sept 13: At least six school students and van driver were today injured in a road
accident on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Batote area of Ramban district.
"A private school van carrying children collided head on with a car coming from Srinagar near Batote," police here said.
They said that the school students sustained minor injuries, while the van driver suffered fracture in his leg.
"Kids were discharged after treatment but the van driver was hospitalised," police said.
"We have arrested the car driver and a case has been registered," police added.
