Sep 2: An immunisation campaign--Measles Rubella--has been launched in all
the districts of the state from 30th August, 2017.
Giving details of the campaign, a spokesperson for the Health Department said here today that the campaign would last for 4-5 weeks, and a total 18.
66 lakh children aged between 9 months to 15 years would be immunised with a single shot of MR vaccine at schools as well as in Anganwaris and MCH centers throughout the state.
The campaign was launched by Health Minister Kaul Singh Thakur.
On the first day of campaign, 1.
64 lakh children were immunised all over state, whereas four lakh children have been immunised in various schools till last evening, the spokesperson said.
'Children, parents and school teachers were giving full support to Health department teams in getting children immunised,' the spokesperson added. UNI
