KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 25: District Development Commissioner Kulgam,
Talat Parvez Rohella, today convened a meeting of concerned cluster heads to
review the status of participation of youth in Youth Clubs in the district. MLA
HS Bugh, Abdul Majeed Larmi, was also present in the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the progress and achievements under the programme.
The meeting also discussed the modus operandi being adopted under the talent
search programme and success stories found so far.
The DDC called for cent percent registration of youth in Youth Clubs,
saying it is pivotal to efforts towards channelizing the energies of the youth
towards positive endeavors.
He said participation in these clubs will also enhance the quality of
education as this would help the youth to connect with the society, experience
the social milieu and contribute towards the wellness of society.
The
concerned heads were directed to devise schedule of activities that shall as an
activity calendar for these clubs. The DDC said all the logistic support shall
be provided to these clubs so as to ensure their grooming.
