KATRA, SEPTEMBER 25: On the fourth day of all India
Devotional Song Competition, famous celebrities Gulzar Lahoria and Sunil Mattoo
enthralled the audience with their mesmerizing presentations.
CRPF Commandant Sushil Kumar Mishra, DySP (DAR), President Hotel
Association, Katra and Chairman All India Devotional Song Committee Rakesh
Kumar, Yog Acharya Swami Yoga Nand ji Maharaj, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Virender
Kesar, Ajay Kotwal were present on the occasion.
In first round of competition, Shubh Sisters from Chamba clinched the
1st position and qualified for Semi Final to be held on 28th
September and Brijesh Malhotra from Kanyala was adjudged 2nd while 3rd
position was bagged by Swarn Lata from Jalandhar who went straight to quarter final to be held
on 27th September among the 10 participants of different states. All the three winners
were awarded with the cash prizes of Rs.10,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs 3,000 along
with gifts.
The Devotional Song Competition was adjudged by a panel of music experts
including Celebrity Singer Gulzar Lahoria, Ex.HOD Music, Dr.Usha Bhagat,
Assistant Professor (Music) Govt. College for Women Parade Anupama Sharma and
Retired Director All India Radio V.K Sambyal.
The proceedings of the competition were conducted by Rakesh Wazir, who is
also the Chairman of the said Competition.
The famous
celebrity singers Hasmat, Sultana and Asmita Garg will perform tomorrow and live
telecast of the event will be made on Shradha MH one from 9.15 PM.
The All India Devotional Song Competition is being organized by SMVD
Shrine Board, J&K Tourism department and Shradha MH one in association with
Shiv Khori Shrine Board, J&K Bank, Ramada City Center (now open) Jammu,
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialist Hospital, Pure Roots Herbal, Nidhesh
Builders Jammu Pvt.Ltd., 92.7 Big FM, District Administration and the local
Community.
