BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 21:
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Sanai today had an
extensive tour of Sumbal subdivision to review the Muharram arrangements.
He was accompanied by Nodal Officer for Muharram arrangements and a team
of all Officers from District Administration.
The ADC visited various Imambaras including that falling in Inderkoot
& Nowgam area and took stock of the supply position of rice, Atta, Sugar,
Firewood, LPG and other commodities.
The ADC also reviewed the healthcare facilities and was informed that
appropriate arrangements have been made for providing first aid and ambulance
facilities in the area.
The locals appraised various grievances to the ADC regarding street
lights, availability of sugar, sanitation and traffic regulation.
ADC assured them that their grievances will be redressed on the priority
basis.
He also inspected various developmental works carried by PDD, RDD, PHE
and R&B departments in Shia dominated areas and issued on spot directions
to speed up the pace of work and completed them within the stipulated time
frame.
The ADC stressed upon the officers to work in close coordination so that
people will get more and more facilities from the administration.
