Board calls for speeding up smart city project
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 21- The board of directors constituted
for Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the implementation of Srinagar Smart City
Project met today under the chairmanship of the Commissioner Secretary Housing
and Urban Development Department, Hirdesh Kumar.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of
the SPV for the Srinagar Smart City, Dr. Farooq Lone, Vice Chairman Srinagar
Development Authority, A. M. Raina, Director Archives and Museums M. S. Zahid,
Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Dr. Shafkat Khan and other senior
officers.
The meeting besides taking several important decisions called for
filling up the key posts through proper advertisements so that the process of
implementation of the important project can be speeded up. It was also decided
that the dedicated website for the project would also be developed as soon as
possible.
