'Ensure speedy disposal of cases' |
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 15: A meeting
was convened to review the status of redressal of grievances registered with
the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell under the chairmanship of its Additional Secretary,
Inam-ul-Haq Siddiqui here today.
The meeting was aimed at strengthening the departmental as well as
central grievance redressal mechanism besides establishing, defining Standard
Operating Procedures (SOP) to provide good governance and responsive
administration to the people. He said that awareness should be
created to educate the public about the process of registering their complaints
with the CM’s Grievance Cell, besides focusing on the speedy disposal of pending
cases.
The Nodal Officer Geology informed that all the complaints received by the department have
been disposed off. The Additional Secretary directed them to strictly adhere to
the Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) as laid down while disposing off the
complaints.
At the end of the meeting, officers from JKBOSE, BOPEE,
Information and Public Relations Department, Family Welfare and Geology were
directed to regularly update the status of complaints on the portal of Online
Public Grievance Monitoring System.
