SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07: A delegation comprising
Councilors of LAHDC and representatives from different parts of Ladakh today
called on the Minister for Ladakh Affairs and Cooperatives, Chering Dorjay,
here.
The delegation apprised the Minister of several concerns and requested
for their redress. It also requested for filling of vacant posts of Tehsildar
at Sumoor and SDM at Khalsi on priority.
While assuring the delegation of earliest redress of their concerns, Dorjay reiterated the
Government’s commitment to the development of Ladakh.
Speaking on the occasion, he said various measures are underway to
expedite development of Ladakh and its adjoining areas, adding that several projects
have been undertaken in this regard with special focus on time-bound completion
of ongoing projects across various sectors.
