DDC holds meeting with District Red Cross Society

 UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 16: District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar today held a meeting with the District Red Cross Society.

          Principals of various education institutions were present in the meeting.

Stressing on spreading awareness about the various activities of the Red Cross Society, the DDC asked the Principals of various Education institutions to cooperate with the District Red Cross Society in holding various awareness programmes including blood donation camps.

The DDC further stressed on strengthening the District Red Cross Society and threw light on various objectives of DRCS.

Stating that the DRCS helps in promoting humanitarian principles and values ,Disaster preparedness and Health and Care in the Community, the DDC asked the Principals to encourage the students to work for this noble cause.

Secretary , District Red Cross Society, Dr V.P Sharma, CPO Ashok Khajuria, AD Planning Darshan Kumar were also present in the meeting.
