DDC Kishtwar reviews performance of RDD, Edu dept

KISHTWAR,   SEPTEMBER 28 :   District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana today chaired a meeting to review the physical and financial progress of various developmental works taken up under Rural Development and Education sector schemes of state and central government. 

       The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer L A Balwan ,  Assistant Commissioner Development Garbi Rashied Dy Chief Educaion Officer , DPO , AD Planning, All BDOs, ZEOs of the District , JEs besides VLWs and JRS of the rural development department .

       While reviewing the block wise progress, the DDC expressed displeasure over the slow pace of work under   MGNREGA, PMAY and IAY, Model village and directed all BDOs to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas.

       The DDC stressed on adoption of more innovative methods in various schemes and involvement of common masses in the development process. He directed the officials to convene regular meetings at panchayat level for the preparation of plan. 

         While reviewing the physical and financial progress of various schemes in Education sector the DDC called for early completion of works under SSA and RMSA. He called for effective monitoring and said that there would be no compromise on the quality of work.
