New polling stations created in Shopian

SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 23: According to District Election Officer (DEO) Shopian all the voters and political parties of the district are informed that creation of polling stations/change of locations has been made in respect of 35-Wachi and 36-Shopian assembly segments.

            According to the statement from DEO, in 35-Wachi assembly segment, the new polling stations 96-Turkwangam, 97-Kadgam, 98-Chidipora, 99-Reban, 100-Heff, 101-Wachi and 102-Marheng have been created. In 36-Shopian assembly segment, the new polling stations 102-Alyalpora, 103-Kanipora, 104-Aglar, 105-Trapadpora, 106-Chotipora, 107-Sedow, 108-Wanpora, 109-Manloo, 110-Kanipora and 111-Audoo have been created, the statement further read.

Further, in 35-Wachi assembly segment the location of 44-Kaprin B has been changed to M/S Rai whereas the locations of 37-Kiloora B has been changed to Panchayat Ghar Kiloora, 5-Chitragam to Panchayat Ghar Chitragam, 72-Chitragam C to M/S Hydergund and 75-Shirmal to P/S Shirmal of the same assembly segment.

            Also, in 36-Shopian assembly segment the locations of 22-Trenz B has been changed to Panchayat Ghar Trenz whereas locations of 31 Krechpathri has been changed to P/S Krechpathri, 37-Saidpora (P) to UPS Chaki Saidpora, 45-Meemander C to Alhuda Public School Meemander, 52-Nowgam to H/S Nowgam and 61-Thairen Kandi to UPS Thairen Kandi of the same assembly segment.
