SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 13: Minister
for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari has condoled the demise of noted
literary activist Muhammad Ahsan Ahsan.
In a condolence message, the Minister while recalling the contribution
of the deceased said that his contribution towards the Kashmiri culture in last
five decades would be enshrined in the annals of Kashmiri history. He said that
besides being a writer of high calibre and repute the decades writer, he was
also a known cultural activist who always stood up for the preservation and
propagation of the valleys unique culture and ethos.
"His demise has created a void in the cultural and literary circles
of the state, which would be hard to be compensated", the Minister
maintained.
Basharat Bukhari has conveyed his sympathies with the bereaved family of
late Ahsan.
